Atlanta Hawks Stage Historic Comeback to Take Series Lead 3-2

By Hardwood and Hollywood Staff Posted on June 17, 2021

Two days after blowing an 18-point second-half lead in Game 4, the Joel Embiid and Philadelphia 76ers one-upped themselves by fumbling their way out of an even bigger advantage on Wednesday night. Despite leading by 26 points early in the third quarter, and holding a 25-point lead with just over 15 minutes left to play, Philadelphia found a way to finish off one of the most crushing collapses in playoff history, falling to Atlanta 109-106 as the Atlanta Hawks and Trae Young take a 3-2 series lead home for an elimination game Friday. - The Athletic
